Originally from Adelaide, Dr Sue Acton studied medicine at Flinders University of South Australia.

Sue gained extensive experience in gynaecology and obstetrics by completing her Dip RACOG in 2000 when she was based at Blacktown hospital and she continues to enjoy providing antenatal and newborn care.  She moved to NSW to complete her FRACGP in 2002.

Sue has extensive experience in Paediatrics. She completed the Diploma of Child Health in 2005 and attends regular training weekend updates.

While living in London Sue attended the short course in travel medicine at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

Sue is experienced in managing psychological conditions and provides holistic patient centred care. Her practice style is friendly and empathic and she enjoys caring for people within their family and community context.

Sue is passionate about health education and providing up to date evidence based information to empower patients to make the best decisions about their health.

She enjoys reading and travelling, in  particular experiencing different cultures and food. She has lived in the UK and travelled extensively through Europe, South America and Asia.

Sue enjoys boxing, cross training, body surfing and skiing.
